Firearm Lesson

By signing up for this educational offering you will be required to agree to and sign the following Waiver and Release of Liability. By purchasing this course, you agree to the following. 

 I, the participant, HEREBY WAIVE AND RELEASE, indemnify, hold harmless, and forever discharge Hamilton Wenham Rod & Gun Club, and its agents, employees, officers, directors, instructors, affiliates, successors, managers, and assigns, from any and all claims, demands, debts, contracts, expenses, causes of action, lawsuits, damages, and liabilities of every kind and nature, whether known or unknown, in law or equity, that I ever had or may have, arising from or in any way related to my participation in any events or activities conducted on the premises, including but not limited to firearms range use, classes, archery, and pond use, provided that this waiver does not apply to acts of gross negligence or intentional, willful, or wanton misconduct.

I have inspected the premises and believe them to be satisfactory for the purpose of this activity. I understand that the activities in which I participate may be inherently dangerous and can cause serious or grievous injuries, including bodily injury, damage to personal property, and/or death. On behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and next of kin, I waive all claims for damages, injuries, or death sustained to me or my property against the aforementioned released party.

I assume any risk and take full responsibility for participation in these activities, including but not limited to the use of facilities, equipment, ranges, pond, firearms training activities, and other related activities on or off the premises.

This Waiver and Release contains the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior written or oral agreements. Its provisions may only be altered, amended, or waived in writing by all parties. This Waiver and Release remains in full force and effect even after the termination of activities on the premises.

I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older, mentally competent, and that by signing a formal Waiver and Release, I voluntarily give up considerable legal rights. My signature indicates my intention to execute a complete and unconditional waiver of all liability to the full extent of the law.

A formal signed waiver will be required prior to participation.
